How to Get to Expo City Osaka
From Umeda / Osaka Station

NIFREL – Interactive Aquarium-Zoo Hybrid
NIFREL is the highlight attraction at Expocity. Designed by the Kaiyukan team but built as a more interactive, art-installation experience, it mixes fish tanks with mammals, birds, art lighting, and touchable exhibits across 7 zones. Best for ages 2-7 (where Kaiyukan is best for ages 5+).

LaLaport Expo City – The Mall
LaLaport Expo City is a 305-store, 4-floor mall integrated into the complex. Major draws for visiting families: Pokemon Center Osaka DX with the adjacent Pokemon Gym (full interactive Pokemon experience, JPY 2,400-3,200 admission), Toys”R”Us flagship, Bandai Namco Cross Store, and a 4-floor food court with kid menus and high chairs.

Adjacent: Expo ’70 Commemorative Park
Directly next to Expocity is Expo ’70 Commemorative Park – 264 hectares of greenery built on the 1970 World Expo grounds. The Tower of the Sun monument (interior tour by separate reservation) sits at the center; the park has multiple playgrounds, a Japanese garden, and the famous Big Roller Slide.
