Messages sent through the form below reach the people who edit Osaka Tourism Guide directly. There is no support queue and no auto-responder, and replies usually go out within two or three working days.
Corrections come first
If a price, an opening time, a train fare, a closure day or a festival date on this site is wrong, that is the most useful message you can send. Osaka moves quickly: a Shinsaibashi restaurant closes, a museum changes its winter hours, Universal Studios Japan reworks its ticketing, a fare goes up in April. Please include the page it appears on and, where you can, the correct figure and where you saw it. Corrections are checked against the operator’s own source and the guide is updated, usually the same week.
Questions about a trip
Short, specific questions are welcome — whether the Osaka Amazing Pass is worth it for the three days you are actually there, whether Nara works as a half-day, which airport to fly home from. Bear in mind that this is a published guide rather than a travel agency, so the answer may well be a link to the guide that already covers it.
What this site cannot do
It cannot plan your holiday for you, and it cannot act as a booking agent. It does not sell tickets, take reservations, hold bookings, issue refunds, or have any relationship with the hotels, restaurants and attractions it writes about. If you have booked something and there is a problem with it, the business you booked with is the only party who can help — this site has no visibility of your booking at all.
Requests for guest posts, sponsored articles, link exchanges and “content partnerships” are declined without exception, and are the one category of message that does not get a reply. Nothing on this site is for sale.
Press, permissions and reuse
For permission to quote or reproduce anything published here, or to ask about republishing a guide, write in through the form and say what you would like to use and where it would appear. Short quotations with a link back need no permission.
Before you write
Please do not send booking references, passport or ID details, payment card numbers or any other sensitive personal information through the form. It is not a secure channel and it is not the right place for any of those. What the form collects, and how long it is kept, is set out in the privacy policy.
